Social interaction

Human beings are social animals. Social contact in any form is very important for a well-functioning society. We create our society by being together, working together, playing together and learning together.

Natural Humanism is opposed to any form of restrictive measures that hinder social interaction between people. Rather, Natural Humanists believe that social interaction contributes substantially to health and happiness.

Natural Humanists are in favour of activities that foster community spirit. When people feel part of open communities, communication becomes easier and disagreements are easier to resolve.
